“Your Passport to a World of Reading and Learning”

The Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base Community Library invites you to use and enjoy our library materials, services, programs, and facilities. We have a large collection of resources to meet the needs of the entire community including Books, e-Books, Internet, Language Software, Tutoring Software, Movies, Online Databases, and Magazines/Newspapers, and much more. We provide activities and programs including a weekly preschool story/craft hour and summer reading programs and activities.

Library materials and services are available to:
• Active Duty and dependents
• DOD civilians and dependents
• Retired Military Personnel
• SNCOA/NCOA faculty & students
• TDY

Your Library Card:
A free library card can be obtained at both Maxwell and Gunter Libraries by presenting military identification. Library cards are issued in the name of military personnel. Family members are registered in the name of Armed Services personnel to whom the cards are issued. Family members may present the library card to borrow library materials from Maxwell and Gunter Libraries. Children 10 years or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to borrow library materials.

Preschool Story/Craft Hour

Summer Reading Program
Registration begins May 1st for our two-month long program. The program encourages youth to read and provides special events, certificates, prizes and more.
